American democracy is in a difficult time.
Public confidence in our elections is being undermined because some have chosen not to accept the results of our last presidential election.
In 2021, we saw the U.S. Capitol overrun by insurrectionists who launched a violent attack upon our duly-elected lawmakers as they gathered to certify the presidential election results. And we have seen election officials continue to be threatened and harassed, a crisis that CVF has been working to address by defending and supporting election officials and election administration.
The California Voter Foundation is a small but mighty nonprofit with nearly three decades of nonpartisan leadership and experience making elections better for voters in California and beyond.
We collaborate with election leaders from a number of sectors to advance reforms to curtail harmful election disinformation and provide more state and federal funding for election administration and more support for election officials and their staff.
We are grateful to our partners, donors, volunteers and friends who are joining us in tackling these challenges. We rely on help from our supporters to fund this important work.
Your gift will help CVF keep working to make elections more accessible, secure and supported.
