About the Propositions
California's June ballot includes two statewide propositions, 98 and 99, also called ballot measures. Propositions are assigned numbers by the Secretary of State, and require a simple majority to pass. Propositions 98 and 99 are competitng measures related to eminent domain. If both pass, it is likely that the one that receives the most votes is the one that will be implemented.
